Short entry today: Chicken Road: Player's Diary does not place cookies of its own on your device. No tracking, no ad cookies, no visit counters.
What does get saved
Only your answer to the 18+ question. It sits in your browser's local storage on your phone or computer, so the diary does not keep asking, and it is never sent anywhere. Want it gone? Remove the stored site data for this address in your browser, or wipe browsing data entirely, and the question will be asked again.
Cookies that are not mine
Two outside sources can store data while you read. The demo on the front page loads from InOut Games' own servers, and it may use cookies or session storage under its policies. Casino sites you open through outbound casino links can set their own cookies too. I have no access to any of them; the privacy notes explain more.
Clearing them on your phone
- Android, Chrome: tap the three-dot icon and open Settings. Under Privacy and security, pick Delete browsing data and include cookies and site data. To stop third-party cookies in future, look under Site settings.
- iPhone, Safari: open the phone's Settings app and find Safari. Tap Clear History and Website Data to wipe stored data, and turn on the cross-site tracking block to limit cookies from other sites.
Wording shifts between browser versions, so hunt for something close if the menu looks different. The diary works the same with cookies blocked.
